generating ideas for your article marketing

Saturday, July 30th, 2005

If you use article marketing as part of your online marketing strategy you’ve likely experienced an occasional brain freeze. You know what I’m talking about, the inability to even come up with a new idea on which to base your article. UGH! It seems that when this occurs the only thing you find yourself focusing on is the mental block itself. Once this starts to happen you start to feel yourself sinking into a black abyss of frustration and desperation. Now your growing concern is the time you’re wasting by being ‘non-productive’ as your online marketing campaign slowly grinds to a halt. Well now that I have likely discouraged you from ever writing another article again (ha, ha) let’s examine some useful techniques you can employ to overcome the periodic writer’s block we all suffer from: DUST OFF PURCHASED INFO PRODUCTS Most anybody who has an online business has purchased products that many times end up in the digital archives. Reviewing previous purchases you’ve made is a great way to find new ideas upon which to base your articles. ADDRESS YOUR OWN QUESTIONS The primary reason people surf the internet is in search of information. How often do you find yourself looking for ways to improve your life, your online business, or even make a home repair? When you’re conducting your marketing research note the various ideas and information related to your field upon which you could base an article. All you need is just one idea to spawn several articles. GOOGLE UP A FORUM No matter what your field is you’ll find a forum (or several) in which you can visit to ask questions, get answers, and browse thru the conversations of others. This is a great way to discover the most pressing issues, concerns or needs within this field. Based upon your findings you’ll likely to conduct additional marketing research with which will come more ideas. ARTICLE DIRECTORIES The locations at which you submit your articles are a gold mine of information and ideas. By simply skimming different categories and article titles you can find ideas that you can take and run with. Consider a headline and think of the first thing that comes to your mind as to what the article may be about. What about sub-headlines, or maybe bullet points. Each one of these represents a new idea upon which you can base an article. This is a great source from which you can generate new ideas for your online marketing campaign. GO BLOGGING Much like forums you can find a blog dedicated to just about any topic you can imagine. Another similarity blogs have with forums is the personal perspectives reflected by both the site owner and readers who participate thru their comments. Furthermore you will generally find links to other blogs that cover the same or related subject matter As you can see countless ideas for our article marketing efforts can be found literally at our fingertips. Learning to recognize, accumulate and sort this information for future use in your marketing strategy will save you time and spare you future headaches. article writing guide 9 steps to jumpstart your article writing

Friday, July 29th, 2005

More and more people are now more than willing to spend time and even money to learn the ropes of article writing. This is because they now know that the only way to succeed in the online arena is to offer their target audience the hottest commodity online which is great content. If you’re one of these people, I am pretty sure that you’ll be able to make use of this article. It’s because I’ll share with you an effective guide so you can get started in article writing on the right foot. So, you better read on! 1. Goal setting. First, spend a couple of minutes in identifying and establishing your objectives. It’s very important that you’re clear on what you want to achieve so you can make the whole process focused. 2. Target audience. Do not even think about writing your first article unless you know the people that you’re writing for. Research their profiles and their needs thoroughly. This can help you determine ahead of time what information to share and how you can possibly help them out. 3. Choose your topics. Go with topics that will help you serve your purpose. For example, if you’re trying to establish yourself as an expert in your niche, you should focus on topics that are closely related to it. Make sure though that these topics are interesting or useful to your target audience. 4. Choose your titles. One of the most challenging parts in writing articles is creating killer titles. However, you can learn and master this overtime by simply learning from the experts and through constant practice. Catchy titles are your best and only allies in boosting your open rate. 5. Research your topics thoroughly. As a writer, it’s a huge accomplishment for you if you leave your readers well-informed. This can happen if you offer them with complete, in-depth information. These people must be able to get everything they need in order to understand your chosen topics. It will dramatically help if you research your chosen topics thoroughly and if you make sure that you will not leave any stone unturned in the process. 6. Check other articles. You don’t want your articles to come out very similar with other articles posted online. If you have the time, read other articles about your chosen topics. Then, use different elements and writing style that can help you set your articles apart from the rest. 7. Keep your articles short. Ditch what you’ve learned from your English teacher back in school. In article writing, you don’t need to make your articles longer just to capture the attention of your readers. As online users have very short attention span, they will only read your articles if they are relatively short (500 words or less). 8. Keep it simple. There is no need to use highly technical terms or big words in your articles as this will not help you in getting your message across. Save your audience some time and do not require them to check their dictionaries by using simple terms and by explaining your ideas in a very easy to understand manner. 9. Check your articles. Don’t forget to check and proofread your articles before you distribute them over the internet. Remember, your articles are you image in the online arena so you better make sure that they are at least close to perfection. writing online articles

Monday, July 25th, 2005

As webmasters or bloggers, we all need to know how to write a good online article. Even if we contract out the writing work to somebody else, we still must know enough to be able to differentiate the good from the bad. While the following tips won’t make you into a great writer, it should do enough for your writing to increase your readership, which is something we all want. Know What You Are Writing About The key to writing good articles is knowing your subject matter. Granted that you can’t be an expert in everything, and that most writers are asked to write on a wide range of subjects, that little extra time taken to do a bit more research or homework before starting to write will pay off handsomely. Use Subheadings And Write In Point Form Most of your readers are in an awful hurry. So do them a favor and separate your article into different sections using subheadings. And if you are presenting a list, use bullet points. Remember to do it in such a way that your readers can get the gist of your article just by reading the subheadings and the bullet points. Write Like You Are Talking To Your Reader I have always been a fan of writing in the first person. It is more direct, more personal and I think it engages your reader much more. I mean, I am sure that you would prefer to be told that “you should exercise caution when opening the lid” rather than “caution should be exercised when opening the lid”. Be Short And To The Point Mostly, online articles are about informing and educating rather than literary excellence. So don’t worry too much about not being a great writer but just make sure that you write clearly and to the point. Check For Grammatical And Spelling Errors Don’t consider your article finished without running it through a spell checker. And before submitting your article, spend a few minutes and give it a onceover to eliminate any grammatical errors. Remember that it doesn’t have to be perfect, but you also do not want any obvious errors in your article. Conclusion It is sad that there are articles written purely for SEO ranking, their only purpose being to serve as fodder for the search engines, and not meant for human eyes. Despite that, I feel that if you were to put your name to an article, you should be proud of it. As such, any article you write, for whatever purpose, should be a well written piece that a human reader can appreciate and enjoy. ================ While great ideas are a dime a dozen, those that are simple and really work are not. market your articles to increase sales

Monday, July 25th, 2005

Article marketing is successful on the World Wide Web through supply of information. With many new businesses plying on the Internet recently, competition has become stiff. It is indeed a challenge to market any business online, which is likely to generate a prospective audience to it. Article marketing has to be in such a way so it pulls readers attention to the writer’s web site. It is essential to advertise articles capable of drawing target audience to that site for valuable information on particular topics. The prospective readers are ones you may persuade to enter a business. People engaged in article marketing need to submit their articles to different article sites. Write on a particular business and make sure that information is informative and updated. Avoid hype in writing. Benefits: Article marketing has in store enough benefits for business owners who use this marketing strategy. From increased visibility on the Internet, to better rankings on the search engine, article marketing aims at promoting products, services, and programs of online businesses having limited marketing budget. Its benefits are as below: 1. Helps to build goodwill: Some business owners believe that revealing too much information, reduces credibility of their goods and services. Thus, they restrict their product knowledge to themselves. Writers, who provide enough information to readers on a particular product or service, are likely to gain attention for such services in future. The writer has to build a rapport with the customers through the supplied content and hence, the content has to be a masterpiece. 2. Favorable SEO effect: SEO, which stands for Search Engine Optimization, intends to make a web site frequently accessible for search engines. This enables the site to be indexed, found and shown for users performing a key-word specific search. SEO involves many techniques such as on-page and off-page. Article marketing has emerged as an important SEO tool, since it allows the user to combine the usage of keywords and associated links for better rankings for the web site. An author submitting an article on any online directory may choose to include an author biography or a resource box. A writer may also add a link to the web site within the resource box. The added link is sure to attract readers to that site and generate traffic. The writer may also use HTML for formatting the links so the same appear as a part of keywords. 3. Assists in maintaining credibility: Article marketing offers both name and fame and boosts the credibility of the writer. A writer needs to make available quality and concise information on products and services to attract large number of buyers to the web site. If a web site is successful in gaining prospective visitors, credibility of that site is likely to improve as never before. Overview: Article marketing is perhaps the most ignored concept in Internet marketing. Entrepreneurs spend inexhaustible amount of money in advertisements and other expensive methods. However, article marketing helps to attract huge traffic and is very affordable because individuals do not have to shell huge sum on it. Simply writing the articles and posting them in different sites, starts boosting the sale of the products almost immediately. coursework evaluation

Saturday, July 23rd, 2005

Coursework evaluation will measure the research paper in both qualitative and quantitative way. A good paper will have some characteristics that make them stand apart from other research papers. In a good paper, the subject matter in a limited sphere is systematically studied. This method needs great patience, courage, diligence, a creative imagination and objectivity. Without this scientific attitude or spirit one can never make a great paper. Before starting work by the scientific method the research worker should make a minutely detailed analysis of the problem he wishes to study. The greater the clarity of this analysis, the easier will the research be. Any good research papers proceeds by way of the following steps: 1) Observations- The first or initial step in making a good research paper is a minute and careful observation of the subject matter of research. This observation often necessitates the use of apparatus which must be accurate. 2) Recording- The second step in making a good research is a careful recording of all the data obtained in the observation. This necessitates an unbiased objectivity. 3) Classification- Now the collected data has to be classified and organized. This is a serious step. In the words of Karl Pearson, “ the classification of facts, the recognition of their sequence and relative significance, is the function of science.” The classification is aimed to place the disintegrated facts into such relation that they exhibit a symmetrical pattern. In this way, the subject matter is systematically arranged on a logical basis. 4) Generalization: The fourth step in this method is the extraction of general laws on the basis of the pattern exhibited by the classified material, or briefly, generalization. This general law is known as a scientific law. In the words of MacIver,” Such a law is simply another name for a carefully described and uniformly recurring of s sequence.” 5) Verification- The scientific method does not stop only at the formulation of general laws. The general principles must also be verified. The validity of the scientific principle can be ascertained by examination. This validity is their essential condition in the absence of which they forfeit their claim to the title of scientific law. It may not possible for your paper to fulfill all this steps or elements but your paper should pursue this scientific spirit. If this scientific spirit is not followed by you at the time of making your research paper your work will never reach any great height. You need to be careful about the above mentioned elements at the time of making your paper. It should be followed from the very beginning at the time when you are choosing your problem statement, making your hypothesis or you are doing your literature survey. It is particularly more applicable when you are doing your research methodology. You need to be totally unbiased and you need to use scientific methods to get the best result from your sampling study or analysis of the collected data. The result need to be free from any kind of bias, reliable and valid in every aspect. the key a fairytale chapter 7 a step above oblivion part 2

Saturday, July 23rd, 2005

A John was tireless, and continued with his story, “These forest dwellers made another tremendous breakthrough. They discovered ‘kamma,’ the part of us that continues after death. What continues after death is rather complicated so I will go slowly. Whenever you act, this act is remembered by something which colors the pure consciousness of Reality, and a record of that act is stored as a psychic memory, which is a spiritual memory of sorts. This remembered act, this psychic record, will boomerang at some point returning to affect you precisely as your original act affected another. Whatever you send out, whatever you do, circles back and affects you with an equal impact at some future date. Each particular act comes back to revisit you someday and pay its debt, in a manner of speaking, with a good act repaying in good luck and a bad act repaying in bad luck. This is the Great Law of kamma: Whatever you do to others will be done to you.” I could understand kamma on a worldly level. If I helped someone, that person would think well of me and perhaps return the favor someday. Conversely, if I harmed someone, that person or somebody from that person’s family would hate me and might seek retribution. A John, however, was apparently taking into account a broader scale, a scale of certainty in that whatever one does will come back with equal force. I questioned this because I had known people whose evil went unpunished their entire lifetime! Reading my mind, a John continued, “This spiritual memory stores every record of your conscious actions because, as I mentioned, each action must be resolved. The resolution is accomplished by granting good luck for good actions and bad luck for bad actions. But what if the being dies with many of these debts still unpaid? A criminal might have done many evil things and should have accumulated much bad luck, but somehow goes scot-free in his present existence. Alternatively, a well-meaning person might have performed many good acts but is seemingly not rewarded. This well-meaning person might even find him or herself suffering one inexplicable tragedy after another. This apparent unfairness can be explained this way: When a being dies, many debts, both good and bad will remain outstanding because the old body, now dead, cannot experience the repayment of the good and bad luck resulting from these debts. Therefore, rebirth in a new body is necessary for if there were no new body, there would never be a resolution of these actions. Then, when rebirth occurs, actions from many past lives affect the present being, and although one may be very good and kind in this lifetime, bad actions of the past will affect them until they find their key. “This is a very simplified explanation, as the action-reaction sequence can be extremely complicated, but do you at least understand on a logical level? Your actions, whether they are good or bad, necessitate a new body to resolve the good luck or bad luck resulting from these actions. In the case of the unpunished criminal, his good acts from a previous lifetime may have protected him from punishment this time. His present bad actions, however, will negatively affect him sometime in the future. The good person, who is now having bad luck, might have been a criminal in the past and is just now reaping the consequences. We weave quite a tangled web with our freewill, not knowing what might be waiting for us in a new body! Once we are born into physical existence with all it’s desires and distractions, who knows what will happen to us. We could act like animals, and then be reborn in the animal world, or worse, which is very difficult to move out of. “It is therefore advisable to take every advantage of any good luck that comes your way in this lifetime and not waste it by simply enjoying yourself. Use that good luck to find the key, for who knows what lies ahead in the next lifetime?” I had to think this through. If I understood correctly, my body and mind - my physical appearance and my personality, along with my memories and thoughts, in essence, ‘the king,’ did not continue after death. The single thing surviving will be a spiritual memory of the actions of the old lifetime. This storehouse of remembered actions then takes on a new body, using the new body as a ‘bank’ of sorts. The spiritual memory of the old body’s actions is deposited in the new body, so that the old actions can be repaid in good luck or bad luck by using this new body. Consequently, since I killed many people in this lifetime during my misguided war, there will come a day that I will be besieged with bad luck! I wouldn’t know when to expect it, either. How could I escape this? “Some of the good and bad luck does not necessarily resolve itself in the next lifetime,” a John continued, as if answering my questions. “It might come back many lifetimes later depending on the severity of the action and the degree to which it impacted the mind. Not every past action is deposited in the new body’s ‘bank’ at once. “Don’t forget, every good (expansive), or bad (self enclosed) action, no matter how small or insignificant, will result in an equal reaction affecting you at some point in time. Although you will be in a different body or form, and possibly on a different sphere, and appear to be someone other than the one who committed the action, the results will hit you nonetheless, and you will definitely feel the effects. When the good or bad luck arrives, you will experience it, no matter where or who you are at the time, just as you are now experiencing the results of someone who acted in the past - and that someone was nobody but you.” I was utterly bewildered. This meant that my personality, or whatever I believed to be my soul, would not survive death. Is that what my soul is, my past actions? Surely, I must continue to exist somewhere. I can’t just dissolve

the nobel prize

Saturday, July 23rd, 2005

Once again the time of year is upon us when a committee of people decides whom will be awarded the Nobel prize in the five different categories which are literature, chemistry, medicine, physics and peace. These awards as most of us know are given out in Scandinavia as it was their where a man whose name was Alfred Bernhard Nobel (1833-96) made a fortune from his inventions which included dynamite (1867), gelignite (1876), and ballistite (1889), this being the precursor of cordite gunpowder. Of coarse the family business did not limit itself to expanding through the manufacturing of explosives as their Baku oilfields also contributed. It was through accumulated wealth from all these activities that Alfred Nobel become affluent enough to leave behind a large enough sum of money from which interest alone are capable of covering a cash reward which is constantly being increased to go along with the Nobel Prize. As for the awards themselves they are given out every year along with a lovely check (presently in the amount of 1’500,000 dollars) to each person whose accomplishments are according to the members of a committee worthy of such a prestigious award arguably the most. In a way it is fitting that this committee has never made known the standards they use to judge the merit of the accomplishments which are being awarded for what makes greatness is a question which can not be answered as a factual one for it is a purely arbitrary matter. Naturally there are those who question weather or not certain past and present winners (meaning this year’s recipients) are deserving of such an honor which to my way of seeing things based on what my knowledge holds is an issue that is irrelevant. My reasons standing that deserving is an issue of someone’s opinion and since there are no set of specified standards that need be upheld by the winners then how can anybody by right be more deserving then somebody else? There is a second argument which increases the insignificance of this question which is, if this award belongs to this committee then should they not have the right to confer it and its monetary prize on whom ever they see fit regardless of reason or lack of which? When saying this it should be clear that we are not talking about a competition which has clear rules like a race where the winner is simply the one who crosses the finish line first. As opposed to a race here there are no parameters but opinions which turn judgment of weather these awards are rightly or wrongly given in to an impossibility. For my own I say they do have the right to award whom they see fit given the facts that I have stated but it is another question I wish to pose and that is “Is it for a committee or for any one group of people in any given year to declare for the rest of us whose accomplishments are great?”. This is the question I feel should be asked by the rest of us regarding not only this prize but any other prize which is given out as opposed to being won by clear rules that determine who the winner should be. I would like to also make clear that by writing this I do not wish to take away from the worthiness of past or present recipients of this award nor from the people whose job it is to give it out but I ask with a decided negative answer in mind that if an award given out purely as matter of opinion necessarily means the actions that supposedly earned it were great? I reply to this question in the negative simply because I belief that true greatness if such a thing really exists in a universal meaning is not for any one man or group of people to decide upon unless they are doing it only for themselves but for a vast majority of people to do so during the course of time. It is without doubt that I accept what I have no alternative in doing otherwise which is that these people who give out these sort of awards have the right to bestow their own certificate of greatness on whom they choose to do so but changing topics to my rights as appose to duties. Am I obliged as a man capable of self thought to have to accept their findings which are in fact arbitrary that someone’s deeds are grand? It is this question that I reply to with a resounding “no” for not only myself but for others whom I would wish to tell that if they consider a man to be great they should do it based on their own belief and not that of anybody else. Another factor I would like to point out is that this is not an award which one can win twice in ones lifetime at least not for the same category. It is this coupled with the fact that this prize must be issued on a yearly basis which leaves those whose job it is to decide who should get it in what I imagine would be a strange predicament. As they have to find not only a winner who has accomplished something of at least some merit but one who has not been already awarded along with several other candidates (Hitler at one time being considered for peace of all things) to give the appearance (perhaps false) that their was some sort of election process. Another observation I have made based on what I have seen and heard is that many times it is not the person’s deeds that are recognized but the ideals the person holds. An example of this might be Nelson Mandela (Nobel Prize laurite) who if facts be seen was even labeled as a terrorist and not without some proper foundation by then Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher as it was he who spent 27 years in prison for what any other country would have also categorized as acts of terrorism. When saying this I do not put doubt that Mandela was against apartheid but can it be stated that a man who spent so many years in prison in fact contributed in any way other then being a symbol to the fall of a system? Of coarse again if these people which to give out their award to this man it is not for me to approve or disapprove. I however for myself can not see based on reality where this man’s action would have contributed to the fall of apartheid anymore then Pope John Paul 2nd’s to the fall of the Soviet Union or Gandhi’s to ending British rule in India. Symbols these people may have been for worthy causes but then again, is it not action which accomplishes rather then symbolic gestures which if one thinks about it can never go beyond what they are even if their doers are award a prize. I fore my part as a final thought will say this, when it comes to greatness, it (if it does exit in a factual way) is not in need of awards of any kind to declare it as such for it stands out so far above the rest that it needs not but its own acclaim. When saying this it is the greatness of Sir Winston Churchill that I speak of which I ask those of minds capable of own thought, would his actions have been greater had they been awarded by a small group of people or are they less in greatness because they were not? The same could hold true for Shakespeare, would his poems increase in artistic value if he had lived in a time when Nobel Prizes were being handed out and had he been given one? I believe not and as for some of the winners of this award such as “Mother Teresa” (born Agnes Bojaxhiu) would her actions carry less credit with the many destitute she helped all over the world had this so called committee of immortality not seen fit to award her? This answer I leave to those who have understood the point I have tried to make in this article. On a lighter side to this article and to put an end to my point I can quote what an American football player replied when asked what he felt about playing in the Super Bowl which was “How super can it be? They play it every year”. If this should hold true for the Nobel Prize the same thing would I repeat with a slight twist “How great can it be? They hand out not one but five every year.”

rick ross talks deeper than rap

Thursday, July 21st, 2005

Look who’s baaaaacckkkk! The one and only well not really Rick Ross returns on the scene with a new album and an iron fist. Rick has now bid farewell to his long time record label Slip-N-Slide and will be releasing his upcoming album off of his very own label, Maybach Music Group. The album entitled Deeper Than Rap is according to Ross, 85% completed and is scheduled for an April 7th release. Within the next week or so, our ears will be introduced to Ross’ first released single off of the album which is slated to be a collaboration between him and the R&B piano prince John Legend entitled “I’m The Magnificent”. This single of course is the calm before the storm. In a phone interview with MTV, Ross discussed the single “Mafia Music” which is slated to make its debut after “I’m The Magnificent”; let’s just say he presses that it will surely stain a few North Faces and scuff a couple of Timb’s (if you know what I mean; and to those of you who don’t, in layman’s terms, he’s going to make some people REALLY mad), “I can’t lie: I’m dropping the B-side. It’s titled ‘Mafia Music’ and it’s gonna cause a lot of problems,” he explained. “It’s a scathing four-and-half-minute nonstop flow, me being autobiographical about my life and my come-up and my triumph. Of course, I had to address a few things, I had to address a few people. I love it. The thing is, some people are gonna be
