how to create real income from your private label rights

Monday, June 23rd, 2008

PLR or Private Label Rights facilitate total control over content. This means that you can freely distribute, change, add or remove some parts of an original article without making any reference to the author or publisher. A little modification in the original material and you’re off to go and claim it as your own with your by-line. PLRs come in handy for people who are having difficulty in creating their own content or simply those who have no time to build one. Aside from that, there are literally hundreds of ways you can stretch PLRs limits. For instance, if you are planning to release an eBook about Arthritis you could simply grab PLRs relating to your niche. Private label rights products may include text, graphics and source codes which will ultimately help you in branding yourself. Here are few ways on how you can do with your PLR products. 1. You can split the product into several modules and create mini eCourses. This is proven effective if you have a good mailing list. Try to create an interval between courses. We do not want to suffocate your clients by dumping them too many courses in a short period of time. 2. If you can split them, you can also combine them as well. This will create an entirely new product waiting for your disposal. Create some new interesting headers and sales letters. Products like these can command a higher market value. You can also opt in for physical deliveries to your customers. There are several online sources which can automate the printing and delivery freeing your time and worries. A hefty price range from $200 to $900 is not bad at all. 3. It is also a great way to create a new niche Website or blog. You would want to take a little effort to rewrite them. By now, there will be hundreds of similar websites all with the same content even if you had just downloaded them. Monetize your Website by incorporating Adsense to it. 4. An autoresponder is a great tool to let your clients know that your site is not dead. Take your PLR content piece by piece and send them occasionally. New products and services can also take advantage of this great tool. 5. You can set up your very own membership site by providing constant content to your members in monthly basis. Check your PLR product licenses if it does not prohibit you from doing this. There is no easy money in the Internet. If there is, then everybody would be a millionaire. However, hard work and motivation would help you earn the income you have been aiming for. stephenie meyer how to write boringclumsy sentence openers

Saturday, June 21st, 2008

Here’s an excerpt from young writing phenomenon and bestseller Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight: Jess drove faster than the chief, so we made it to Port Angeles by four. It had been a while since I’ve had a girls’ night out, and the estrogen rush was invigorating. We listened to whiny songs while Jessica jabbered on about the boys we hung out with. Jessica’s dinner with Mike had gone very well, and she was hoping that by Saturday night they would have progressed to the first-kiss stage. I smiled to myself, pleased. Angela was passively happy to be going to the dance, but not really interested in Eric. Jess tried to get her to confess who her type was, but I interrupted with a question about dresses after a bit, to spare her. Angela threw a grateful glance my way.[chapter 8, Twilight] What is wrong with the above? It is quite inartistic. And as clumsy as running a marathon with new shoes. Truman Capote would call the above paragraph, “Typing,” not writing. The paragraph contains not one single balanced sentence, let alone a well balanced sentence. And, yes. All sentences are of the amateurish or childish pattern S-V-O (subject, verb, object–John hit the ball; john hit the ball; john hit the ball; etc). Aging writer Stephen King, in a recent interview said: “Both Rowling and Meyer, they’re speaking directly to young people… The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can’t write worth a darn. She’s not very good.” At first impression Mr. King’s comments may sound as sour grapes and perhaps as evidence of an old senior citizen writer being jealous of a young and popular one. At least this was the reaction of many of Stephenie Meyer’s fans: “King is jealous: no one buys his books anymore.” “Name one of King’s books that is popular today: none!” “He can’t see a young writer succeed.” So I purchased several of Jo Rowling’s books of the Harry Potter series, and I was much surprised. Rowling is a master writer; a master of grammar, syntax, and rhetoric. If you love the English language, you will find well balanced sentence, and cadence and rhythm, and echoes that could be the envy of any literary writer. Because she writes for children, her production isn’t considered literary by many critics, but eventually she will be, just a Mark Twain, C. S Lewis, Kipling, and Dickens. Mr. King might just be right in his criticism of Stephenie Meyer, not because he is jealous of her success, but because–as we can see in the above excerpt–Meyer’s writing isn’t writing at all, but typing; maybe she’ll mature as a writer and learn the trade. Hopefully someone close to her might give her some sound advice that good writing comes with sentence variation. Stephenie Meyer reminds me of another young writer who wrote one passable novel, Secret History, and then fell out of grace and was dropped by publishers like a hot brick. Same problem as Meyer: writing subject-verb-complement ad nauseum. Though Stephen King has been writing for longer than 40 years, his prose hasn’t improved. And his themes are still horrific. But despite the fact that many scholars and critics view Mr. King as an entertainer and not a literary figure, I can say that he can put together some fine sentences. Will he ever be hailed as a master writer in the same league as Faulkner or Hemingway? I don’t think so. And why not? ?Some may ask: simply because he himself at one point in his life decided to become an entertainer rather than a literary writer. Retired. write simple content and dominate the writing industry

Saturday, June 21st, 2008

Gone with the days that writers had to wait for years before hearing if their writing publications as accepted. Thanks to the Internet, writers can now enjoy making decent income from home writing simple content. Since most websites need fresh content on a regular basis to get traffic and make money, they will always need writers to outsource their writing projects for them. There are many ways one can make good money writing the Internet. Here is how to write simple content and dominate the writing industry: Find a good market- Competition is already fierce for writing jobs online. Some people think it is better to find an untouched market to make money. This is not necessarily true with selling articles/content. You will make more sales if you write an article that relates to a high demand subject. Some examples of high demand niches include; consumer reports, reviews, technology, science and health. It is important to find good niche markets too because there may not be many webmasters searching for other topics like; fashion and whatnot. Double up your employers- If you will not be writing pre-written articles, then signing up with multiple publishers would be a good idea. I would stay away from low paying sites like Associated Content and Ehow, as you will only be making pennies. Stick with companies that are paying $10 or more for each published piece. The more writing employers you sign up with, the more money you can make writing for the web. Use third party sites- There are many places where you can market your articles online for more income. Some content writing sites like Dailyarticle.com and constant-content have gotten good reviews for connecting writers with publication. It is important to understand that even at these sites, the competition is fierce and you will still have to write on high market topics. Other third party sites you can use are places where you can sell digital files. The more places you sign up at, the more money you can make with your articles and exposure. Contact as many online publishers you can think of. Send them an email with a coupon discount for first time clients. Some publishers are waiting for writers to approach them. Introduce yourself and throw out an article pitch. This will make more money for you in the end because you are building a client base. The more clients you have on your list, the more money you can earn all while making a name for yourself. 4 things that do not produce a papers

Thursday, June 19th, 2008

Getting an A on your school paper is not very hard. It usually comes down to three things: research your topic, know your topic, and write in a clear, organized fashion. It’s very hard to follow that formula and not get an A or at least high B. Unfortunately, this formula does take a little bit of work. So, rather than put the effort into what does work, many students opt for easier approaches that merely sound like they should work. Upon examination, however, they usually don’t, and in some cases actually make your paper worse! Here are four seemingly effective paper writing techniques that will probably not deliver the goods. 1) Making up for lack of content with sheer length There’s a saying that “those who can’t do, teach.” Well, many students seem to write under the philosophy “those who can’t write, write more.” When they either run out of things to say (or more often, never had anything real to say in the first place), many students figure they will simply pad their paper with generic rambling about whatever the assigned subject was. One common example is when the assignment is to write about some specific aspect of a famous person’s life. Rather than do the hard research on that one specific aspect, however, students will fill the paper with irrelevant trivia about the person’s upbringing, childhood hobbies, educational background, parents, etc. Don’t do that! All this does is indicate that you did no research and have no real grasp of the assigned topic. Professors get papers like these every day and will instantly spot yours as the copout that it is. 2) Excessive use of quotes Another all-too-common mistake is overdoing it with quotes and citations. This seems like a better strategy than padding your paper with generic verbiage, because after all, the quotes may be at least related to the assigned topic. But it still doesn’t satisfy the core requirement of getting an A: demonstrating that you understand the topic. Excessive quoting of others just indicates that you found other people who understand the topic. Of course, the occasional quote can make a paper better and more enjoyable. So here’s a good rule of thumb: if quotes comprise more than 20-30% of your paper, you’ve used too many. Keep eliminating quotes until 70-80% of the paper is your own written work and your grade will improve. 3) Turning non-autobiographicals subject into an autobiographical papers Some assigned topics are about you: say, a personality analysis paper in a psychology course. But for some reason, lots of students turn totally impersonal subjects into dissertations about their own lives. If you ever saw a student turn a paper about say, the Civil War, into a personal rant on his own feelings about war, this is what we mean. What such students don’t understand is that most college papers do not call for this. In fact, most of them explicitly prohibit you from using first-person words like “I” anywhere in the paper. You are supposed to be writing as a scholarly observer, not as though you were sitting across from someone at a bar. Now, this doesn’t mean your paper needs to be dry or boring. You can still inject wit and cleverness into a school paper. But do not tie the topic back to yourself unless this was specifically requested. 4) Turning non-political subjects into political papers A similar tactic is turning some totally non-political paper (say, a character sketch of Wily Loman from “Death of a Salesman”) into a political rant. You wouldn’t believe how many non-political writing assignments college students have transformed into Bush-bashing festivals in the last eight years! While this may score you points with some professors, most professors just see this as self-indulgent rambling about something other than what was assigned. Don’t do this either! Always ask after each sentence you write, “how does this relate to or strengthen my main point?” The harder it is to answer that question, the more strongly you should consider deleting that sentence. the circumspect adjective

Monday, June 16th, 2008

“Charming cottage-like home with gorgeous views of the nearby majestic mountains. Three beautiful bedrooms, one of which is a palatial master suite with its own private bathroom and spacious walk-in closet! Capacious living room, with crystalline detailing! Cozy kitchen with the very latest in appliances. Stunning huge fenced yard carpeted with emerald-green grass and featuring two imposing maple trees. Close to all amenities! Motivated seller is eager to sell this hidden gem to the discriminating buyer!” Okay, maybe the above is a wee bit exaggerated, but not by much. Anyone who has done even a cursory search for a home can attest that the use of so-called “descriptive language” is rife in real estate listings. Sometimes it seems that the person writing these descriptions is under the impression that the more adjectives, the more impressive the listings sound. Home seekers want to know as much as possible about the home they are considering contacting you for more information on. In these times where home values have plummeted and many agents are trying to convince disbelieving homeowners that their home isn’t worth anywhere near as much as they think they’re going to sell it for, flowery language can be seen as a way of masking drawbacks and make buyers suspicious before they even set foot in the place. So, let’s take the above ad and work some magic on it: “Investigate this mid-sized 3 bedroom home on a half acre lot. Master bedroom has a walk-in closet and own bathroom. Kitchen has recently been renovated and has an ENERGY-STAR rated fridge and stove. Open-concept living room opens up onto the patio with new shatterproof sliding glass doors. The fully fenced yard has two mature maple trees that shade the patio area. 3 blocks away from corner store and within 5 blocks of Realtor’s Elementary and Broker’s Middle School. On bus route.” So many more facts, combined into an easily-understood informational paragraph. While there are few frills in this ad, it points out the features of the home and implies many benefits (near schools, conveniences and transportation). Defining precisely what the home has to offer instead of hiding it under perfumed phrases makes it seem more reasonable and attractive. The rampant adjectives and overused superlatives in real estate advertising have become so common that they are often mocked as clichés. While an adjective thrown in with useful facts can be a charming accent, home buyers are more impressed by facts that help them decide whether the home is right for them. By paring down listings to sentences that impart needed facts while still being readable, you will make it more likely that home buyers will not ignore your listing by assuming that the flowery sentences hide faults and flaws. triple your article traffic and get listed on page one

Monday, June 16th, 2008

Article marketing is a great way to promote your website, service, or product. Millions of people write articles, but few of them know how to get the most out of their article marketing campaign. Using a simple, but little known technique can easily triple your article traffic and get you listed on page one. This technique involves the use of keywords. Most everyone knows the importance of keywords for their websites, but few people know that the same principles apply to articles. A well written article using proper keyword structure can easily appear on page one of the major search engines. And having your article appear on page one can easily triple your article traffic (and income) generated by a single article. Your keywords absolutely must appear in your title. But not just anywhere in the title, it should be in the first four or five words of your title. This is important for search engines. The title of this article is, ‘Triple Your Article Traffic and Get Listed on Page One.’ The keywords are: ‘triple your traffic.’ You’ll notice that those keywords appear a number of times throughout this article. (And the search engines will notice too!) So, for maximum effectiveness, use your keywords within the first four words of the title. In addition to using keywords to interest the search engines, your title must grab the interest of real people too. After all, it doesn’t make sense to do extra work to get your article listed on page one if no one is interested in it. To generate interest, you should place one or two benefits in our title. Every title needs to highlight the potential benefits of reading the article. Clearly stated benefits give the reader a reason to click on your article and read it. This one contains two benefits that people are interested in: 1) Triple your article traffic, and 2) get listed on page one. Both of these benefits are of great interest to people. Using this simple technique can easily triple your article traffic and get you listed on page one. Use it for future articles and increase your marketing campaign’s effectiveness.
