template for a winning sales letter

Friday, May 29th, 2009

Writing a winning Sales letter is one of the ways to sell a product/e-book/software on the Internet. Not everyone feels up to writing such a sales letter. So we either struggle to do so, or hire a copy-writer to do it, or buy copy-writing software. Winning letters are ones which follow a system. The following template is one such system. Writing the headline: The headline should answer the question: What is the biggest benefit of your product/e-book/software. Think of the biggest benefit. At first many will come to mind. Your task is to think of one that is the biggest. Put this benefit at the end of any one of the following questions: You can think of more such starters for your headline. Write the opening line. This is an answer to your headline. Some thing which says: “If you would like to know more about … then this is likely the most crucial information you ever read.” Fill the blanks with the most important benefit of your product or go to .killer-sales-letters.com. Mention the name of your product and give the visitor the information about what they are going to find in it. Imagine the over all benefits of your product; write them down in sentence format. Suggest your visitor also imagine these benefits. Now list out the specific benefits and / or the features in bullet form. These bullets should help your visitors get a taste of the number of specifics they can get from your product. Now make your offer. Suggest the price you could have charged for such a quality product. Specify that you are actually charging much less so that many more people can have access to the results of your hard work and because you understand the need for such a product. Time to offer bonuses. Offer at least one bonus if not more. With each bonus list the benefits that the visitor will get .web-sales-letter-supreme.com Also mention the price of each bonus. At the end of the list of bonuses mention the total value of the bonuses. Time for testimonials. Plug in testimonials of actual people who have used your product and have found it useful, with their names and where they are from. Write your guarantee/refund policy. This will make them feel in control of the purchase. Set a refund period while you are at it. Usually the service provider that you use to collect payments and deliver your products will specify in their terms and conditions the refund period that they will accept. Call for action. Paste your purchase button now. So that your visitor can make their purchase. You are done. Edit this letter using Dream weaver or any other WYSIWYG editor of your choice and set it up on your website. .sales-letter-secret.com .sales-letters-creator.com - Sales Letter, Letters, Business Writing, Sales, Writing

pithy prose the wit wisdom of friedrich nietzsche

Wednesday, May 27th, 2009

by Philip Yaffe Part 6 of an occasional series I am a collector of quotations. I have been ever since I learned how to write, I mean professionally, not in primary school. I am particularly fond of what I like to call “pithy prose”. These short quotations can cover an unlimited variety of subjects: love, religion, politics, human nature, etc. What unites them is their ability to say more in one or two sentences than could be expressed in a thousand-word treatise. It’s like being able to pour a liter of liquid into a half-liter bottle. They are superb examples of Mark Twain’s famous dictum, “The difference between the right word and the almost right word is the difference between lightning and a lightning bug.” In principle, all writers and public speakers are capable of producing pithy prose, but clearly some are better at it than others. Any collection of pithy prose must necessarily be biased in terms of what it includes and excludes. I make no apologies for my selections, only for the hundreds of other meritorious quotations I had to leave out. No one will agree with all these quotations; this was not their intention. You may even find some of them repugnant or outrageous. This was their intention. We seldom learn anything of value from what we already agree with. Only those ideas that grate on our nerves can open our minds. As with oysters, irritation can produce pearls. So if anything you are about to read annoys or shocks you, try to think clearly and dispassionately about what it is saying. You will either be confirmed in your current belief or shaken into re-examining it. Either way, you win! This article is part of an occasional series. In each article, I will be offering more amusing, educating, and exasperating quotations to your judgment. But just to be certain that we agree on what we are talking about, here it is in a nutshell. Pithy Prose: A quotation where at first you may not be quite certain what it means. But when you become certain, you become equally certain that it couldn’t have been said better any other way. In short, big ideas in small packages. If you have a better definition of pithy prose, please contact me. I would love to hear it. Who Is Friedrich Nietzsche? Friedrich Nietzsche (1944 - 1900) was a German philosopher who challenged the foundations of Christianity and traditional morality. Central to his philosophy is questioning all ideas and dogmas that are not “life-affirming”, however much they may be part of the social fabric. His writings are believed to have strongly influenced Adolph Hitler. 1. A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything. 2. Admiration for a quality or an art can be so strong that it deters us from striving to possess it. 3. All things are subject to interpretation. Whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth. 4. Anyone who has declared someone else to be an idiot or a bad apple is annoyed when it turns out in the end that he isn’t. 5. At times one remains faithful to a cause only because its opponents do not cease to be insipid. 6. Convictions are more dangerous foes of truth than lies. 7. Extreme positions are not succeeded by moderate ones, but by contrary extreme positions. 8. Fanatics are picturesque; mankind would rather see gestures than listen to reasons. 9. Fear is the mother of morality. 10. He that humbleth himself wishes to be exalted. 11. In every real man a child is hidden that wants to play. 12. In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule. 12. It is impossible to suffer without making someone pay for it; every complaint already contains revenge. 13. It is not when truth is dirty, but when it is shallow, that the lover of knowledge is reluctant to step into its waters. 14. Let us beware of saying that death is the opposite of life. The living being is only a species of the dead, and a very rare species. 15. Love is blind; friendship closes its eyes. 16. Many a man fails as an original thinker simply because his memory it too good. 17. Many are stubborn in pursuit of the path they have chosen, few in pursuit of the goal. 18. Morality is the herd-instinct in the individual. 19. Mystical explanations are thought to be deep; the truth is that they are not even shallow. 20. No one lies so boldly as the man who is indignant. 21. Nothing has been purchased more dearly than the little bit of reason and sense of freedom which now constitutes our pride. 22. On the mountains of truth you can never climb in vain: either you will reach a point higher up today, or you will be training your powers so that you will be able to climb higher tomorrow. 23. Once spirit was God, then it became man, and now it is even becoming mob. 24. One has to pay dearly for immortality; one has to die several times while one is still alive. 25. One often contradicts an opinion when what is uncongenial is really the tone in which it was conveyed. 26. Rejoicing in our joy, not suffering over our suffering, makes someone a friend. 29. Some are made modest by great praise, others insolent. 30. Success has always been a great liar. 31. Talking much about oneself can also be a means to conceal oneself. 32. That which does not kill us makes us stronger. 33. The “kingdom of Heaven” is a condition of the heart - not something that comes “upon the earth” or “after death.” 34. The best author will be the one who is ashamed to become a writer. 35. The best weapon against an enemy is another enemy. 36. The demand to be loved is the greatest of all arrogant presumptions. 37. The doer alone learneth. 38. The essence of all beautiful art, all great art, is gratitude. 39. The future influences the present just as much as the past. 40. The man of knowledge must be able not only to love his enemies but also to hate his friends. 41. The most common lie is that which one lies to himself; lying to others is relatively an exception. 42. The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently. 43. There is in general good reason to suppose that in several respects the gods could all benefit from instruction by us human beings. We humans are - more humane. 44. There is not enough love and goodness in the world to permit giving any of it away to imaginary beings. 45. This is the hardest of all: to close the open hand out of love, and keep modest as a giver. 46. Those who cannot understand how to put their thoughts on ice should not enter into the heat of debate. 47. To forget one’s purpose is the commonest form of stupidity. 48. We do not hate as long as we still attach a lesser value, but only when we attach an equal or a greater value. 49. We hear only those questions for which we are in a position to find answers. 50. We love life, not because we are used to living but because we are used to loving. 51. Whatever is done for love always occurs beyond good and evil. 52. When a hundred men stand together, each of them loses his mind and gets another one. 53. Without music, life would be a mistake. 54. Words are but symbols for the relations of things to one another and to us; nowhere do they touch upon absolute truth. 55. You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist. fbi team reaching new dehli

Monday, May 25th, 2009

AN FBI team is likely to reach Mumbai on Saturday to investigate the spots of the Mumbai carnage. The team of FBI investigators and forensic scientists coming to Mumbai as counter-terrorism officials were reported to be stunned at the level of coordination in the terror attacks in the city. The US media has reported on Friday that the FBI team would coordinate with Indian intelligence and security agencies about the planning and evidence collected on the attacks. They estimate that the widespread carnage could have been carried out for a relatively small price tag of between USD 100,000 and USD 200,00O which, they say, is the cost of machine guns, grenades, ammunition and boats used. The television network said intelligence agencies around the world are scrambling to identify the source of this latest threat in view of the “remarkable” coordination and sophistication. The command centres, set up by terrorists in places they attacked, may have allowed them to communicate from site to site. The attacks, US officials said, appear to mimic al Qaeda tactics simultaneous attacks on high profile targets in the heart of the financial district. What is deeply disturbing to US law enforcement officials, the report said, is that these militants may now be targeting Westerners, particularly Americans, to draw attention to their cause, despite not having a specific grievance against the United States.

writing a resume for an executive position

Sunday, May 24th, 2009

Not all jobs are created equal. An executive position demands great responsibility so an executive resume must demonstrate that you’ve got the gumption to deliver the skills and savvy required to carry a company.Job seeking requires you to get a grip on the competition. Your resume needs to be of the highest calibre because you can guarantee that that of you competitors will be. Getting started Executive resumes need to be clear and focused. Think about which skills and attributes your prospective employer would value the most, then tailor the details you include to demonstrate that you are uniquely qualified to meet those needs. The information should be thorough and use a professional tone. Use a layout that is easy to read; most executive resumes use Times New Roman font and a balanced amount of white space. The executive profile The executive profile should be short and hard-hitting, a sort of advertisement to set the tone for the rest of your resume and encourage the reader to read on. Include your strongest attributes and most valuable achievements here. For example, a finance executive’s profile might say, ‘An accomplished tax executive with a strong grounding in international taxation and global finance. Has had extensive experience with three of the largest international accounting firms and is a long-term board member of Australian Taxation Office. Frequent speaker on tax issues in the media and at universities.’ Experience Put your experience immediately after your executive profile in reverse chronological order so that the reader can easily reconstruct your most recent career moves. Focus on the results that you achieved rather than your responsibilities. The results, as they say, will speak for themselves.Emphasise the transferable skills you possess to tell your prospective employer that they could get the results you’ve previously achieved in their company too. Don’t forget to supply your reader with some context for your achievements. This can be established by quantifying your accomplishments. For example, instead of stating that you played a part in increasing company revenue, you could say, ‘Played a key role in increasing hardware sales to $2.5 million in 2001 (up 5 per cent from 2000) by revising advertising budget and strategically adjusting marketing plan.’ While your employer will be most interested in your most recent experience, there can be value in displaying your early work experience, particularly if you have worked for well-known, reputable companies, or if you achieved impressive accomplishments in these positions. Sell your soft skills There are many qualities required in a good senior manager or successful executive; excellent time management skills, multitasking abilities and an understanding of financial processes. However, people tend to forget that executive positions require ‘people’ skills as well as professional ones. Include in your resume appointments that required you to think innovatively, lead a team of people or demonstrated dedication and went beyond your call of duty. While other candidates may have a similar education or career path, these personal anecdotes will give you an edge. Key words are key Use key words like industry jargon and those featured in the job description. Most recruiters use databases to store and search resumes and you want yours to be noticed and recognised as relevant. Don’t get personal There is no way to predict the personal biases of those who read your resume, so if in doubt about including a personal anecdote, leave it out. Volunteer work, professional affiliations, teaching experience, board memberships, presentations and recognitions are constructive details. Marital status, age, religion, hobbies and country club memberships are not. Checking it twice If you’re applying for an executive position, you have enough experience to know that just running a spell check on an important document won’t cut it. Your resume needs to be checked for spelling, grammar and punctuation errors, appropriate wording, correct spacing and alignment and relevant information. Then it needs to be checked again, preferably by someone else with an eye for detail. Review your resume with a very discriminating eye and concentrate particularly on reducing unnecessary wordiness. Every word in your resume should serve a purpose. In this way, cut down your resume to three pages at the most. Make sure you use language that is succinct, dynamic and action oriented to capture and hold your reader’s attention. An executive resume needs to be of the highest calibre

incredible dissertation writing process

Sunday, May 24th, 2009

If you want to succeed in your dissertation help project, you should establish great relationship with your advisor. This is also important for those students who are doing PHD or doctoral degree. Professional advisor should know that there are two process in advising. The first stage is when a student takes course and the second one is a dissertation process. However in order to succeed one should have a advisor in every stage of this process. The student in this case has more possibilities to make acquaintance with his advisors, and thus understand better which one of them will suit his needs. This a very important process for the student as well as for the advisor. The advisor should be more mature, responsible and have more experience unlike the student for advising the whole process of the dissertation. The advisor should give special attention to all requests of the student as well as his comments or observations. When an advisor is shown a draft of the dissertation from a student, he should read it properly and evaluate it by providing specific comments. On another hand a student should prepare thoroughly for each meeting with his advisor (it might advisable to prepare a detailed plan of the meeting as well). Every student should know that an advisor cannot allocate a unlimited time to any student because you are not the only student for the advisor, so a student should be specific about his problems and provide great deal of information to the advisor. eight benefit from the tips to get publishers to notice you

Sunday, May 24th, 2009

If your articles arent getting published very often, or you just want to increase the chances of them being published, then you will benefit from the tips in this article. 1. Article Length You should always keep you article 500 to 800 words long. If you cant fit what you want to say into that amount of space, then break your article up into more than one part. 2. Resource Box Length When writing your resource box, keep it 5 to 6 lines long. In a resource box you are simply trying to get people to request more information, not sell them something. If you want a longer ad, buy one 3. Line Length The lines in both your article and your resource box should be formatted to 60 to 65 characters per line. One of the consequences of not doing so is that, in some email programs, your article may appear with every line at a different length. You can get your article formatted, as well as learning its character, line, and word count, at the following website for free. .bookstoretoday.com 4. Is Your Article Actually An Article Publishers want to provide their readers with actually useful information and you should want the same. If you write an article that is just a sales letter or press release it will be rejected 99 percent of the time. 5. Inactive Links Before you even think about publishing or submitting your article check that all links within it are active and working. Nothing is more irritating than to click on a link for a site youre interested in only to find out that it no longer exists. 6. Spelling, Punctuation, and Grammar If you submit your article and its full of errors it will be thrown into the trash folder so fast that your head will spin. Submitting articles with these types of errors not only makes you look extremely unprofessional, but it shows disrespect for both the publisher and their readers. 7. S AM Triggers As a courtesy, you should run your article through a program that will check it for triggers that could possibly get it rejected by filters. This is not a necessary step but it will definitely impress publishers and increase the chances of your article being published. You can check your article for free at .allhottips.com . 8. Publisher Guidelines This should be understood without having to say it, but it is still important enough to mention. Always, always, always follow the publishers guidelines when submitting an article to them. Not doing so will get your article rejected quicker than anything else. Read this list, print it out, and keep it by you when you are writing an article. Read each tip and make sure that you are following it. Making the above mistakes will insult the intelligence of both the publishers and their readers, as well as wasting your time and theirs.

secret weapon of net marketers article marketing

Saturday, May 23rd, 2009

Writing a quality article is never easy. There have been those that have tried it and went away disillusioned by the results. Why? There are a number of possible reasons for this. Let’s take a look at a few possibilities. Poor quality. Folks, let’s face it. The demand is for quality content. Poorly written or hard to understand articles just doesn’t cut it. People demand information that makes sense and that they can use in what ever niche they are interested in. No Clear Message. Similar to the poor quality reason mentioned above, an article that doesn’t have a clear message in it will often leave the reader wondering what the article was about. That’s even if they finish it at all. Odds are, if the readers doesn’t finish the article, they probably won’t visit the site either. Boring. If the article is nothing but a dry presentation of facts and figures, odds are it won’t get read. Many readers have a tendency to skim an article first before going back to read it again. Most readers don’t want to read just facts, they want to know how it applies to them. They want to be entertained. Presenting “just the facts” is not exactly considered light reading to the majority of readers. Keeping the reader’s interest is one of the keys to being successful at writing articles. So, what’s the solution and how does one write those interesting articles? Being organized is one of the keys to successful article writing. Being able to get your ideas across to your readers in a clear concise manner goes a long way to keeping your readers happy. With this in place, you will be able to get your message across to your readers and issue that call to action that will get your readers’ interest up and keep it up. Writing or creating an interest grabbing title is a major key. If the title is boring, odds are your article will not be read. This is the first thing your potential readers will see so try to work out titles that make them want to stop to read what you have to say. Get passionate about what you are writing about. I don’t know about you, but I have read many articles about the subject of Internet Marketing. Some promoted one technique or another as their success strategy. The articles that stood out in my mind the most were the ones that the writer was impassioned about. It was evident in how the article was written and it kept my interest. Still others gave good information, but lacked that zeal I mentioned earlier. It was very evident in the way the article was put together. It was clear, it was concise. But there was little sparkle in it. Another successful writing tip is to get personal with your readers. While this is not always possible, there are times and places in your article writing that you may be able to share a personal experience. It may be in the form of a tip, something you learned, or a discovery you made. The point is you are talking to your readers not at them. Being able to write great articles does not come easily to every one. Some are gifted with the ability to express their ideas in clear meaningful ways. The rest of us have to work at it. Writing great articles is not impossible, it just takes work and development of your particular writing style. Using the tips mentioned above, you can be successful. polish translation a perfect business sense

Saturday, May 23rd, 2009

Translation is a process of gathering the meaning of a text or a document from an unknown language, to a known language that communicates the same meaning. Now it is estimated that there are nearly 7000 languages in the world that include the popular languages of English, Arabic, Portuguese, Korean, Russian , Spanish, Mexican to name a few. Language is one of the important parts of our life that changes from time to time. A person who translates a language into another is called a translator. The translator should have the following qualities. To translate, he should be versatile in both the languages that are involved in the translation. The interpreter should have good communication skill. Care should be taken to avoid misinterpretation. The more the text is concise, the better chances exist to be understood. Portuguese is rated the 6th popularly spoken language in the world. With approximately 240 million native speakers talking Portuguese, polish translation becomes a very important service to reach people. General observation points to that Portuguese people like Japanese, Korean and Chinese use local language for formal and informal communication. English or other languages find a meager role to play in their business or personal communication. Thus translation plays a very important role to reach the local people. Polish translation does not mean translation of the words from the originating language to its equivalent in Portuguese. Many free online tools exist that provide instant polish translation from any language but such translations are full of errors because they simply translate words from the originating language to its equivalent in Portuguese. When translating from any language to Portuguese care should be taken to ensure that the meaning of the sentence translated is synonymous to the sentence in the original text. Many websites today offer polish translation as a part of their translation services. Polish translation by non speakers of Portuguese has got its own pitfalls like grammatical errors, etc. Hence, it is wise to ensure that the translator is a native speaker or has been resident of Portugal or Portuguese dominating countries. Portuguese speakers have been successful in polish translation on account of their in-country living and familiarity with the appropriate usage of the language. The style of conversation and information presentation plays a vital role for the business community marketing. Polish translators have become an important resource in conferences and meetings, editing and proofreading, software localization, voice over, dubbing, transcription, content writing, desktop publishing and so on. Polish translation is required in the areas of engineering, medical, law, art, business, science, advertising and public relations to name a few. Common usage of polish translation is seen in business websites targeting the Portuguese speakers. More areas of polish translation are gaining popularity as the Internet widens its horizon to reach business to the nook and corner of the world.
