acre lane the long mile
December 17th, 2002Author: adminWhile your daily sojourns, the remnants of change may lead you to the peak of success, or the pit of failures; the guise of happiness may make you or in sadness may break you… Your thoughts may come as raw figments, young as you are; you live life to the brim, love and value, your deeds be it be foul nor good will always cling to you true… Life in the fast lane, the limelight, drugs, alcohol, the frenzy parties, love in the cover of night… Tsk Tsk… Yes that was once part of my life, no, that was my life, but here I am at the bottom of my hour glass; holding out my last; reminiscing at the slightest of grins; the memory of my last laughter; to cry at the slightest touch, the heartaches i’ve brought, and to give a sigh on the lives I’ve touch, and to those I’ve destroyed… Yes those were the days, but to the young and the upstart may you be always true, to avoid the evils, down the alley or two. Unlike me who lived a lie… Sitting here enjoying the sights; sitting in a wheel chair; slowly inching my way, nailing my grave… To live is a must; but to live by is another’s disgust. I may have broken every rule there is, but to you I pray may be saved. I am here alone, awaiting the visit of death’s messenger, his scythe I’d gladly face… Run on life, but value what you have. for in the end it will cost. Unlike me, all alone, penniless, and in pain… with frail hands, begging for death, come the rains… in deafening silence; down Acre Lane… source:.yuwie.com/jovir Blog: The Greenthumb
